Join us on Tuesday evening to kick off the conference in style with the classic RSECon welcome social at Peddler Warehouse, an ex-industrial warehouse turned independent event space in the heart of Sheffield’s old industrial quarter.

There will be food trucks and drinks provided, and you can sit down and enjoy dinner with friends and colleagues ahead of the conference. There will also be a cash bar available.

Join us for the seated, 3-course conference dinner at the historic Cutlers’ Hall, which celebrates Sheffield history of cutlery manufacturing.

During dinner, we will announce the winners of the annual Society of RSE awards and following dinner there will be a performance by Dylan Beattie. Dinner and wine is included in the price of your conference ticket, and there will be a cash bar available.

The conference programme finishes in the late afternoon, but the social side carries on into the evening. Everything below is self-organised — use the Slack channels to coordinate, share recommendations, or start your own thing.
